Exodus 2:11-15a, 23-3:11 | Rev. Dr. R. Brandon Harris | Moses, raised in the home of Pharaoh, a position of great privilege, makes a decision in the heat of anger that might have forever ruined his life: he kills an Egyptian guard who is abusing an Israelite slave--one of Moses' own people. He flees, afraid for his own life. While he is in hiding, the Lord gives him new direction, new purpose, and a new lease on life.

1 Corinthians 1:18-31 | Rev. Dr. R. Brandon Harris | Let's face it, God's expectations, God's view of things, and God's standards are quite different from the traditional worldly view of things. If we're going to be conformed to God, make God-sized goals, become godly people, we ought to expect that we'll seem pretty foolish. But should that matter?

2 Corinthians 12:6-10 | Rev. Dr. R. Brandon Harris | How much of our lives is wasted worrying about whether we're right enough, ready enough, good enough, smart enough, good-looking enough, skilled enough? Too much! Paul suggests that these things are not questions God worries about. For, whether we're weak or strong, God can use us.
