This is a little bit longer of a tidbit than normal but we dive in going over a myriad of Scriptures as to who Satan is and if we need to be afraid of him.

We've gone over a lot of bad news up to this point and it hasn't looked too positive. But Paul starts getting into the good news (i.e. the Gospel) at the end of Romans 3.  The good news is only so good because the bad news was so bad.

I am going to attempt the insane proposition of explaining this topic briefly within a tidbit.  We'll cover some Scriptures on both sides of the aisle, briefly explain each position and then I'll give you my thoughts on this topic that has been debated for centuries. 

The apostle Paul dashes our hope that we can somehow attain righteousness in of ourselves.  He is giving us the utterly bad news before he can give us the good news.

Last week, we talked about when humans try to apply their flawed interpretation of righteousness and what it would take to earn your salvation in of yourself (which is impossible btw).  This week, we'll talk about how the apostle Paul juxtaposes our view of righteousness and what it looks like to God.  Then Paul tells us how God applies it to us.

Today we'll go over Romans 2:1-11 whereby Paul condemns hypocritical judgment. Also what it would take if you wanted to earn your way to heaven apart from Jesus Christ.

Many have rejected Israel because they think God has. Others still believe in something called Replacement Theology. I'm going to address those concerns in today's tidbit.
