God calls his own to live from the place of TRUE IDENTITY that was restored to us through the Cross. The world trains us to get our identity from what we do. If we do NOT change our beliefs to mirror what God says we will be enslaved to wrong believing and wrong doing.

Our Outreach Leader, Eric Hamm shares about the importance of fervent prayer and how we as a church can help to uncap the well of prayer in Winston-Salem. We also launch our September 24/7 Prayer Initiative and discuss how it will work in the month of September.

Awake Kids hosted a parenting class with guest speaker, Kristen Carmitchel. Kristen is part of the Awake Church family, is the School Director for a local Christian school, and was recently commissioned as a Colson Fellow. This class is an empowering and helpful class for any young adult, parent, or adult equipping young hearts and minds to live out a Biblical worldview.
