In every stage of life, both naturally and spiritually, we will face conflict. Being armed with the knowledge that conflict is part of the territory and how to conduct ourselves armed to fight is essential to live free and at peace. We are conquerors through Jesus who loves us.

Bathabara is the place where the Israelites crossed the Jordan river and into their inheritance. It is also the place where John the Baptist baptized Jesus, initiating the ministry of Jesus to set all free. Bathabara speaks of a place of crossing where the old is left behind and the new begins. A place where people begin to walk in the inheritance that God has provided naturally and spiritually. For us as Awake fellowship, we are about to move onto land at Bathabara, crossing over into an inheritance from the Lord.

In the scriptures we have received an abundance of instruction to live fully alive and to grow and build our faith as we pursue Jesus. In this first portion of Philippians, the Apostle Paul shares with the church at Philippi about the importance of living lives of holiness, not being discouraged by suffering for the sake of Jesus in the midst of a crooked world, and the reminder that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus as Lord.
