Awake Nations Australia

Glenn teaches on the characteristics of the Early Church as primarily apostolic communities.

Here is a quote from this teaching:

"Apostolic communities have a mandate to advance the Kingdom and transform regions (See Matt 24:14; Acts 18-9-11; 19:8, 10). Furthermore, they espouse and enact the culture and values of the Kingdom. They are relational, revelational, and transformational. Apostolic Centers declare, demonstrate, and disciple focusing on the primary goal of advancing the Kingdom of heaven on the earth" - Glenn Bleakney

Apostolic centers are uniquely positioned to equip and train disciples. In many circles today, discipleship is more about doctrinal conformity that being transformed into the image and likeness of Christ. This must change! As the body of Christ we are called to represent Jesus to cities and nations.

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). God has a purpose for His people and in this message Glenn Bleakney elaborates on how to walk in that purpose. Cooperating with the journey is just as important as the arriving at the destination.

Elijah was instructed by the LORD to "hide" himself at the Brook Cherith (See 1 Kings 17:1). The word hide can also be translated as the "secret place.” While Elijah was in Cherith, he was in the precise location where he needed to be. All external influences that potentially could distract from intimacy with God had been removed. Unencumbered, Elijah could now pursue the presence of God resulting in him being empowered by the Spirit of God to move forward and prosper in the next season of his life and ministry.
