By "hope," people often mean "something that might happen but probably won't." But God promises us a hope that is absolutely certain, a hope secured for us by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, a hope that nothing and no one can take away!

Why did Jesus, our Sacrificial Lamb, enter Jerusalem on the day He did? The Palm Sunday account in John's Gospel, together with Exodus 12:3, gives us the answer!

Every human being, before coming to know Jesus Christ, was/is spiritually dead. Even today, in much of the world that calls itself Christian, we have not come to grips with that profound Biblical teaching.

Do we need help? Jesus taught that we needed not only Him, but also the Holy Spirit, the "helper" whom the Father would send to teach and lead us in all things!

God doesn’t only give joy. He is our joy! "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

We are not saved by what we have done, or by how hard we've tried, or by what church we belonged to. Only a perfect sacrifice could pay the price of all our sins. When Jesus went willingly to the cross, He paid that price so that we can now have certain assurance of eternal life!
