Usually we regard loneliness as an enemy heartache, is not something we choose to invite in .Its restless and Pregnant and hot with a desire to escape and find something or someone to keep us company. When we can rest in the middle we begin to have a non-threatening relationship with loneliness a relaxing and cooling loneliness that completely turns our usual fearful pattern upside down.

We might feel that somehow we should try to eradicate these feelings of Pleasure and Pain right ,Loss And gain, praise and blame, fame and disgrace . A more practical approach would get to know them,see how they hook us, see how they color are perception of reality ,see how they aren't all that solid. Then the eight Wordly Dharmas become the means for growing wiser as well as kinder and more content.
