It’s Christmas! 🎄 and we’re ending our Advent series with joy as we celebrate the birth of Jesus 😄✨ He is the fulfilment and embodiment of hope, peace, love, and joy - and through Him we can experience joy in every season 🙌 

In the third week of our series we’re celebrating the advent of love ❤️ love is an important part of our lives, and of God’s story 📖 so let’s talk about how Jesus embodied love, and taught us how to love others as well 🥰

Peace is something we desire, but it is oftentimes something we lack. Where can we find true peace? 🤔 this Sunday we’re talking about how Jesus is the fulfilment of peace 🙏 and it is only through Him that the world will one day be at peace 😌

It’s officially the Christmas season 🎄 and on this first Sunday of December, we’re starting a new series called The Great Expectation ✨ in this four-part series we will reflect on the hope, peace, love and joy that we have in the season of Advent 🕯️in Part 1 we’re reflecting on the hope we have in Jesus 🙏

What does it mean to live out our faith? 🤔 this Sunday we’re talking about making our faith known in the way we live, and through our actions 🙏 one of the ways we do this is through baptism, and at the end of the sermon we’re celebrating with those who have made the decision to be baptised and declare their faith 🙌

The third chapter of Habakkuk is one of the most beautiful and heart-felt declarations of worship before a mighty God in a confusing world 🙌 this Sunday we’re wrapping up this book study 📖 and we’ll see how we learn to trust God and His ways when we turn to Him in troubling times, and respond to His faithfulness by praising Him with songs of salvation 🎶

This Sunday we’re taking a look at God’s second response to Habakkuk 💬 which includes a vision that gives him perspective on what’s happening and five woes to those who will experience God’s judgement. As uncomfortable as God’s responses might be, may we find encouragement as we seek to gain God’s perspective and have Clear Vision 🤓

After God’s response to his first lament, Habakkuk lifts his voice again 🗣️ but this time calling God’s attention to the unending pain that his people are suffering at the hand of their oppressors. How do we respond to God when it seems that our suffering is larger than we ever thought possible? This Sunday is Part 3 of our series, and we’re talking about having difficult conversations with God.

Last week we spoke about Habakkuk’s first complaint to God, and in Part 2 we’re taking a look at God’s unexpected answer 💬 join us as we see how God is always at work 💪 even if we can’t make sense of it at first 😅

What do we do when we face trouble and injustice? 🧐 the Hebrew prophet Habakkuk faced circumstances not very different from us, and there are lessons we can learn from how he wrestled with God, and listened to Him. This Sunday we’re starting a new series on the book of Habakkuk 📖 in Part 1 we’ll see how Habakkuk cried out to God, and that God is able to handle our doubts and questions 💬
