Fathers have an important role in our lives to mirror our heavenly Father to their kids 🙏 this can sometimes feel like a heavy burden, but it doesn’t have to be 😅 this Sunday we want to honour, and empower our dads to be the godly fathers they are called to be 💪 but these principles don’t only apply to them, so ladies, listen up too 😁

It’s easy to prepare for something you’re expecting… but what about preparing for something unexpected? 🤔 this Sunday we’re going to be challenged to be ready for when God calls us to action 💪 we may not always know the “when”, but we should always be ready 😌

Over the past two weeks we’ve spoken about the church ⛪ that as believers we are a called out people, and we are to gather together to worship and to grow. But is there more to church than just being a gathering of believers? The answer to that is this Sunday’s message 💬 we’re ending our Ekklēsia series by talking about BEING the church 🙏

This week in our Ekklēsia series we’ll be zooming in a little and taking a look at Our Church 🔍 let’s talk about why the local church is important ⛪ and what our mission and values are as Awaken Life Church 🙏 

This Sunday we’re celebrating Pentecost 🔥 the day the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles, and the church was born. We’ll be talking about the significance of this in our new series, Ekklēsia ⛪ in which we’ll be taking a look at the church as a whole. When we talk about the heart of God, we often talk about the heart of a loving Father - strong and present 💪 but God has a tender heart too. This Sunday as we honour and encourage mothers, we’ll be talking about how God is tenderhearted and affectionate ❤️
