Choosing the thought system that brings you true happiness is about letting go of conditions and judgments that limit your experience of life. When we try to control or alter reality, we invite struggle and suffering as control is of the ego mindset. By releasing control and inviting a full acceptance of life , we open ourselves to the pure love that only reality can give. This is true beauty. It’s not about changing the world around us, but shifting the way we see it, releasing our perception. This can’t but lead us from fear and conflict to love and unity.

This inner change happens when we recognize and choose to leave behind the ego’s thought system, which is built on the illusion of separation, and instead embrace and accept the Spirit’s thought system, which guides us back to truth, which is wholeness. 

We can choose completion and alignment with God’s love Within, moving away from the ego’s constant search for specialness and fulfillment outside ourselves. In this shift, healing happens naturally and miraculously as we trade fear for love and illusion for truth. When challenges arise, we can find strength in the simple decision to let go and rest in the Spirit’s guidance, leading us to deep inner peace.

In this Satsang Jenny Maria and Barret explore ACIM Lesson 26, reminding you of the quiet strength found in surrender and trust and the letting go of attack thoughts. ACIM Lesson 26 explains that harboring attack thoughts—judgment, blame, etc—leads to a vulnerable perception of oneself. We have simply attacked ourselves first, when we hold on to these thoughts. Our true essence cannot be harmed because it is not of the body or the ego. By identifying and releasing attack thoughts, we return to inner peace and the remembrance that nothing outside of us can hurt us.
