The George Floyd trial ended with a conviction on all counts. Some are rejoicing, some disagree and some don't care. Is there any path forward for a polarized society that has drawn the battle lines and demanded that we chose a side? Yes, there is, chose the side of reason, fairness and truth and we can all make it. 
The George Floyd incident was unfortunate on many levels, yet there is something we can learn from this event, if we are willing to look.
