She was a personal fitness trainer for over 10 years and realized how much she enjoyed watching clients transform into happier and healthier versions of themselves. She started working in the realm of Holistic Medicine when she received her Therapeutic Lifestyle Certification in November 2009 and began working as a Lifestyle Coach. Today, Sonia is a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach and works hand in hand with our providers at Ego, catering to 100s of patients per month that are on their wellness journey. Erika Phillips is a business owner and IFBB Pro Bodybuilder! She originally started her meal prepping business Fit Kitchen in 2020 alongside her husband Mike Phillips during the COVID pandemic. They both decided to quit their full time jobs in order to pursue their dream of opening up this business. Erika has been an athlete her whole life, and both her and her husband have been in health and fitness for over 15 years. In 2023 they proudly opened up a storefront located in Turlock and have been very successful ever since. Erika has built many relationships with her clientele and other local business owners. With Fit kitchen, she’s been able to help hundreds if not thousands of people reach their personal health goals by offering healthy and macro friendly prepped meals. Today, Erika currently yearns to find yet another way to help improve her community and has decided to run for the Turlock city council. Erika prides herself as a hard worker, always staying honest and disciplined, characteristics she displays as a business owner, body builder, and in hopes to the Turlock city counsel.

Matthew Fraze is a Full-time Lecturer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and an Olympic Weightlifting Coach working with students preparing for fields related to Exercise Science and Physical Education. He teaches classes in Strength & Conditioning, Physical Fitness and Outdoor Education for the Department of Kinesiology at California State University, Stanislaus. In addition to teaching at CSU Stanislaus, Coach Fraze is the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Women’s Soccer Team at San Joaquin Delta Junior College. Previously, Coach Fraze became the first Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for CSU Stanislaus (and the second Head Coach in California at the DII Level). Coach Fraze and trained the teams for the CSU Athletic Department from 2005 to 2016.

Coach Fraze earned his B.A. degree in Physical Education from CSU Stanislaus and a M.S. degree in Strength and Conditioning from CSU Sacramento, where he served as Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Hornets Athletics Department. He is a certified Strength and Conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Coach Fraze is married to Cindy Fraze a manages and runs her own real estate business. They have three beautiful daughters together. On his own time Coach Fraze coaches weightlifting, where he’s helped students compete at national levels. Additionally, he is an avid outdoorsman. Has worked with different young men’s and women’s groups teaching and leading outdoor adventures. He has planned and organized youth base camps in the mountains of California. Personally, he spends his summers and parts of the winter hiking in the Sierra's.

Dr. Alex and Ramon Vargas are two proud Latino Chiropractors native to the Central Valley. They grew up in Turlock, California and both are Stan State alumni. They earned their doctorate in chiropractic care, and they now are passionate about providing quality and intentional holistic health and wellness services in their hometown. Their passion for health and wellness inspired them to open up their facility Mas Vida Chiropractic. Their mission is to heal the Central Valley by providing a space where people can be seen, heard, and cared for along their journey through educational and ceremonial sessions such as movement classes, breathwork and cocoa ceremonies, facilitation of men’s work, and retreats.
