In this episode of the Awakened Evolution podcast, Jasper Brown speaks openly about rebuilding trust after infidelity, lies and broken promises, drawing on his own experience of cheating on and lying to his partner and the long process of repair that followed. This is an honest, practical guide to how to rebuild trust after cheating, how to repair a relationship after an affair, and what it actually takes to earn trust back after betrayal. Jasper explores why men cheat, why we lie, and why reducing infidelity to biology lets us avoid the deeper developmental work, covering unmet needs, emotional regulation, relational intelligence, moral development, and the lack of communication skills and integrity that sit underneath most betrayals. He walks through a step-by-step process for rebuilding a relationship after breaking trust: admitting what actually happened and getting honest with yourself, understanding your own motivations without using them as justification, the crucial difference between remorse and shame, putting yourself in your partner's shoes and holding her pain without collapsing, accepting that healing takes as long as it takes, and building a stronger relationship container with clear communication, boundaries, consequences and the capacity to repair after rupture. If you're a man dealing with the aftermath of an affair, struggling with guilt and shame after cheating, trying to save your marriage or relationship after betrayal, learning how to regain your partner's trust, or asking whether a relationship can survive infidelity, this episode offers a grounded path forward. Topics include infidelity recovery, affair recovery for men, betrayal trauma, rebuilding trust after lying, honesty and integrity in relationships, emotional intelligence, attachment, nervous system regulation, conscious masculinity, men's personal development, accountability, remorse versus shame, repair after conflict, and the deeper relationship between truth, integrity and self-actualisation. Whether your trust was broken recently or years ago, this is about who you need to become to be trusted again. Stay to the end, where Jasper connects infidelity and honesty to the bigger picture of living a life oriented around truth.

Most men have a broken relationship with their anger. Either you bury it, swallow it, play the nice guy, and quietly build resentment.. or it runs you, and you explode and hurt the people closest to you. Almost no one taught us the other option. Anger is a primary emotion with a real job to do, and underneath it is almost always something more tender you were never allowed to feel. In this episode I break down where your anger came from, what it's actually protecting, and how to build a healthy, conscious relationship with it so you can use it instead of being used by it. Jasper explains what anger actually is, the fight response and the nervous system, how anger is triggered when a boundary is crossed or a value is violated, and why it so often masks more vulnerable feelings like grief, shame, sadness, guilt, loneliness, fear and unworthiness. He covers the two dysfunctional patterns most men fall into, the repressed people pleaser and nice guy who buries his anger and becomes passive aggressive, and the explosive man who struggles to control his temper, and traces both back to childhood conditioning, upbringing, and attachment. You'll learn how to feel your anger, how to question the beliefs you inherited about it, how to process and express it safely, how to set boundaries, and how to enquire into the need underneath it. If you're a man struggling with anger, rage, resentment, emotional regulation, people pleasing, conflict avoidance, or feeling cut off from your emotions, this episode is a map for turning anger into a source of power, boundaries, and self-respect. Topics include conscious masculinity, men's emotional healing, shadow work, nervous system regulation, boundaries, self-mastery, and the path from wounded to integrated masculinity. Stay to the end for a short guided practice for making contact with your anger.

In this episode of the Awakened Evolution podcast, Jasper Brown sits down with Nic Warner — personal coach, men's immersion facilitator, and student of John Wineland and David Deida — to explore fatherhood as a genuine initiatory experience. Together they unpack why becoming a father doesn't just change your life, it changes who you are at the root. They explore how the arrival of a child surfaces every unresolved wound a man carries, why so many men unconsciously repeat their own father's patterns despite their best intentions, and what it actually takes to break that cycle. Nic and Jasper discuss the intersection of men's work and fatherhood, how doing the inner work makes you a different kind of father, and why the child doesn't need a perfect man — he needs a present one. If you're a father, about to become one, or still healing your relationship with your own dad, this conversation will meet you where you are. Topics include initiation, father wound, masculine healing, men's work, presence, shadow work, and conscious fatherhood.

In this episode I sit down with Alexander Hoysted - philosopher, writer, and policy strategist for a conversation about what happens when the life you've built starts cracking at the foundations and what I call the curse of the golden child. Most men are sleepwalking through life with no map. You follow the script, you get comfortable, and somewhere underneath you keep wondering if this is really it. This episode is the map I wish someone had handed me. The threshold moments, the breakdowns, the awakenings, and how a man actually moves from running on default programming to waking up. I've walked this path myself, and I'm laying out the whole thing.

I just got back from my first Vipassana retreat. Ten days silent. No phone, no eye contact, no escape. In this episode I'm recounting the experience honestly.. what the practice is, how it's structured, what it does to you across ten days, and where I think it falls short. I'm also placing it in a bigger context - what role a technique like this plays in genuine awakening and what it can't do on its own.

This episode is a deep dive into Vipassana meditation — the ten day silent meditation retreat taught in the tradition of S.N. Goenka, one of the most widely practised and talked about meditation retreats in the world. Whether you're considering your first Vipassana retreat, curious about what actually happens inside a Goenka centre, or trying to understand how Vipassana fits into a broader path of personal development and spiritual awakening, this episode covers it all. We explore the full structure of the retreat — the Noble silence, the separation of men and women, the four-thirty morning wake up, the ten hours of daily sitting meditation, the Anapana breath awareness practice in the first three days, and the systematic body scanning technique introduced from day four. We look at the Dhamma talks delivered through Goenka's recordings each evening, the philosophical framework of the four noble truths, the teaching of anicca or impermanence, and how Vipassana positions itself as a non-sectarian, non-religious path to the cessation of suffering. We also get honest about the gaps — the difference between equanimity and emotional integration, why ten days of silence won't automatically resolve trauma or develop emotional intelligence, and how sensation-level meditation practice relates to shadow work, somatic healing, nervous system regulation, and psychological development. We explore where Vipassana sits alongside other modalities including breathwork, psychedelic-assisted therapy, men's work, and relational healing. We look at the legacy of S.N. Goenka, the question of dogma within a tradition that claims to be non-dogmatic, the use of recorded teachings rather than live transmission, and how to apply a discernment lens when evaluating any high-demand spiritual environment or retreat container. This episode is for men on a genuine path of truth-seeking, conscious masculinity, and self-actualisation — men who want to think clearly about spiritual practice rather than follow it blindly. If you've been asking whether Vipassana is worth it, what to expect from your first silent retreat, how meditation intersects with men's personal development, or how to integrate spiritual experience into real life — this is the episode for you. Topics covered include Vipassana meditation, silent retreat, Goenka, ten day meditation retreat, mindfulness, Buddhist meditation, Theravada Buddhism, impermanence, anicca, the four noble truths, body scan meditation, Anapana, Noble silence, spiritual awakening, conscious masculinity, men's personal development, shadow work, somatic healing, trauma integration, emotional intelligence, nervous system regulation, psychedelic integration, truth seeking, and spiritual discernment.
What do your deepest desires actually reveal about you? In this episode, I sit down with integrative sex coach Taylor Clark Johnson for an honest conversation about BDSM, kink, and sacred sexuality. Far from taboo, what emerges is a profound exploration of desire as a doorway — into power, intimacy, shadow, and ultimately a deeper relationship with yourself and your partner.

In this episode of the Awakened Evolution podcast, men's development coach Jasper Brown sits down with integrative sex coach and sacred sexuality guide Taylor Clark Johnson for a deep, honest, and boundary-pushing conversation about BDSM, kink, conscious sexuality, and what our deepest desires are actually revealing about our psychology, our shadows, and our capacity for genuine intimacy. Taylor Clark Johnson is an integrative sex coach who works at the intersection of somatic healing, shadow work, and sacred sexuality — helping individuals and couples explore their erotic lives with consciousness, consent, and depth rather than shame or suppression. In this conversation, Jasper and Taylor explore why BDSM and kink are so often misunderstood — not as pathology or perversion but as sophisticated maps of desire, power dynamics, and the human need for surrender, dominance, trust, and embodied aliveness. They discuss the concept of sacred sexuality — the idea that the erotic is not separate from the spiritual but is in fact one of the most direct pathways into presence, vulnerability, and genuine self-knowledge. Taylor breaks down how unexamined desires often carry significant shadow material — the parts of ourselves we've been taught to suppress, judge, or hide — and how bringing consciousness and curiosity to those desires rather than shame can be profoundly integrative and healing. The conversation explores the psychology of dominance and submission, why power exchange in conscious relationship can be deeply therapeutic rather than destructive, how consent and communication transform kink from something unconscious into something sacred, and what men in particular are often avoiding or seeking through their sexuality that has nothing to do with the physical act itself. Jasper brings his signature framework of integral masculine development to the conversation — exploring how sexual integration sits within the broader arc of the Awakened Evolution path, why a man's relationship with his own sexuality is inseparable from his emotional intelligence, his nervous system regulation, his shadow work, and his capacity for genuine intimacy. Taylor and Jasper also discuss sexual shame in men, the impact of pornography on erotic imagination and relational intimacy, how performance anxiety and sexual dysfunction often have roots in unintegrated desire and suppressed shadow, and what it means to develop a truly conscious and integrated erotic life. Whether you are curious about BDSM and kink, navigating shame around your own sexuality, working through sexual dysfunction or performance anxiety, exploring sacred sexuality and tantra, or simply wanting to understand your desires more deeply and bring more aliveness and consciousness into your intimate relationships, this episode offers a rare, honest, and genuinely conscious conversation about one of the most important and least talked about dimensions of masculine development. Subscribe to Awakened Evolution for weekly episodes on men's inner work, conscious masculinity, relationship mastery, shadow work, somatic healing, sexual integration, nervous system regulation, attachment theory, ego development, sacred sexuality, and the full-stack path from relationship pain and unconscious patterns toward self-actualisation and spiritual awakening.

Most men have never consciously decided what they want or what they'll no longer accept. They drift into relationships, careers, and patterns of relating by default, tolerating what diminishes them and wondering why nothing feels right. In this episode, I break down why standards aren't about rules or checklists — they're the living expression of your self-respect.

Most men have never consciously defined what they want in relationships, what they will and won't tolerate from a partner, or what it actually means to live in alignment with their values. Instead they drift — into relationships driven by familiarity rather than genuine compatibility, into dynamics where they give more than they receive, into patterns of people pleasing, self-abandonment, and quiet resentment that slowly erode their sense of self. Jasper breaks down the real root of missing standards — tracing them back to the wound of conditional love, the absence of healthy masculine modelling, and the unconscious belief that having standards means risking rejection or abandonment. Drawing on his experience coaching hundreds of men through relationship breakdown, identity crisis, and the process of genuine masculine development, Jasper explains why standards are not demands placed on others but an internal architecture built from genuine self-knowledge — from your values, your lived experience, and the vision of the man you're in the process of becoming. This episode covers how to identify the signs that you're living without standards, why standards built from the outside in always collapse under relational pressure, and how to begin building the kind of self-respect that doesn't depend on anyone else's approval or behaviour. Jasper also explores how standards function in intimate relationship — what it actually means to hold a line with warmth rather than aggression, how genuine self-respect is one of the most attractive qualities a man can develop, and why the man who knows who he is and lives accordingly creates a fundamentally different relational dynamic than the man who is constantly accommodating, adjusting, and shrinking. Rooted in the Awakened Evolution framework of integral masculine development — which bridges attachment theory, somatic work, shadow integration, nervous system regulation, ego development theory, and non-dual spirituality — this episode positions standards and self-respect as foundational Maslow-level needs that must be met before any genuine spiritual development, self-actualisation, or higher-stage growth becomes possible. If you are a man navigating relationship breakdown, recovering from people pleasing and nice guy patterns, working through low self-esteem and confidence issues, trying to understand your attachment style, or beginning the journey of conscious masculine development, this episode will give you a clear map of where standards come from, why they matter, and how building them from the inside out changes everything — in your relationship with yourself, with the women in your life, and with the world around you. Subscribe to Awakened Evolution for weekly episodes on men's inner work, relationship mastery, masculine psychology, shadow work, nervous system regulation, somatic healing, attachment theory, conscious masculinity, men's personal development, and the full-stack path from relationship pain to spiritual awakening.
