Three episodes in a week?!?! What in the world is going on?!?! Ok, don’t get used to this. Like I said in the last two, it’s been a crazy busy year, but I still wanted to get these out before the Portal to Ascension conference this weekend. Speaking of which, if you’re in or around San Diego, you should join us there! It’s going to be an awesome time with a bit of something for everyone.
This episode was also supposed to air a couple of months ago with the Portal to Ascension run-up series, but at least we got it out before the conference, right? Just like when I recorded with Joan, Sheila and I recorded right as I was in the beginning stages of my second round of Covid, so I hope my voice isn’t too off. Our conversation was one of the more unexpected ones for me, especially as this was not long after I was introduced to the term “Walk-in” and I still don’t know what to make of the term. Sheila, however, seemed genuine and mostly open, so I hope you enjoy hearing her story and that you take it in with an open mind.

This episode was supposed to air a couple of months ago now, but my year has been crazy. The busy streak at my day job came to an end last week as our 4/20 orders have all been filled and we’re now just playing stock-up for a while. I still expect to have some long weeks, but maybe I’ll get back to a 4-day week somehow and start recording more regularly again. I do know that I’ll have some time off next week, starting when I join this week’s guest, Alan Steinfeld, at the Portal to Ascension Conference in San Diego. I’m really looking forward to the conference and the break from the day job. My girl and I will be taking our first vacation together and I’m looking forward to having a few days without work occupying so much of my thought space.
Ok, I know I’d stopped rambling as much at the beginning of these, and while I’m going to keep that as the standard practice, I’m going to be a bit more relaxed with it as there seem to be interesting things happening lately that I’d like to share with you. The first of those interesting things has been getting to meet up with a longtime gaming friend of mine, Justin. We’ve known each other for nearly 5 years now, having met playing some online gaming together. That said, despite phone calls, texts and even some video chats, this weekend was the first time that we actually got to hang out and share a couple of beers together. It was obvious from the first drink why we’re friends and we got to share a few days of friendship in real life for a change. Hell, he even showed me up and took first place at my last poker night at this house! I just wanted to give him a shout out and let him know how grateful I am for our friendship. It’s awesome to have good people in my life, even from afar.
Alright, alright, enough of that sap. But speaking of that being the last game at this house, it looks like I’ll be renting it out here in the next month or so. Moving in with my girl allows this house to start earning passive income for us and to take off that expense while we look for land. The A.R.C. is still the goal, but it appears to be changing shape, at least to start. The Rad-Rich River Retreat will be how we start the community process I’ve been envisioning with the A.R.C. We’ll be hosting yoga, meditation, and wellness retreats, building community through living by example and helping people with whole-being wellness; mind, body and spirit. I hope to see some of you there as we get opened.
This week I’ll be speaking with Geraldine Orozco, mostly known as a contactee, she is also the founder of Bay Area Meditation among numerous other descriptors. We talk about her experiences as well as ideas around genetic memory and DNA reprogramming. We’ll also be discussing her upcoming appearance at the April 2023 Portal to Ascension Conference!

It’s been a rough couple of months with the universe seemingly challenging me along every path. My work with Tasty’s edibles is still going well, but it’s busy and chaotic. My personal life is going well, but is also a big adjustment in a short time. Then just last week we got over 8 inches of snow and I was involved in a minor accident when my rear-wheel drive Mustang locked up on me around a curve. I was able to mostly control it into the ditch, but even minor damage ended up costing me $2000, right after I got done spending $1000+ on my new laptop. The broken laptop, which is a whole nother story in and of itself, is why you haven’t heard from me for a few weeks at this point. Even after I got my replacement, it’s been hard to get back into the swing of things. That said, the land for the A.R.C. is looking closer than ever and priorities are getting set straight as I finish paying for whatever karma I had incurred in this lifetime. I appreciate you all bearing with me though and it’s good to be back with all of you.
Let’s get to today’s episode though. I don’t know that I’ve ever interviewed anyone quite like Geraldine Orozco. I know that I’m not necessarily a hard questions kind of guy, though I do try to confront things I know are patently false. And while parts of her life story may seem hard to believe, I never once doubted her genuineness in relating the story. I’m also inclined to give reasonable doubt when describing someone’s own experiences, as my own psychedelic experiences have taught me that a lot of life is illusory. As for Geraldine, I was completely fascinated by her and the interview as it transpired; I’m very grateful that we crossed paths. In our discussion, we’ll touch on a wide-range of topics including holographic universe theory, genetic memory, DNA reprogramming and her experience as a contactee, among other fascinating side-topics. I think you’re going to enjoy it.

The first time I tried to record this episode, way back in January, Neil Gaur and I recorded an amazingly fun exchange only to have the audio lost to a failed SD card. That failed recording turned out to be the last time I recorded an episode of Awakened Exchanges for over 8 months. Neil and I stayed in contact and when he wanted to start promoting the upcoming Portal to Ascension Conference in San Diego, I knew it was time to get the exchange up and running again. Since we were planning a long series, I wanted to get a few recorded before we got running, which led to some of our last episodes getting released earlier, giving Nick Hinton and I some divine timing for recording a special 50th episode, which slid ever so nicely to sharing this holiday gift with all of you! I think you’ll find Neil fascinating and I can’t stress enough how pleasantly surprised I was with each and every single one of the interviews with his guest speakers. There are some video issues for those of you watching on YouTube or Spotify. Apparently ZenCastr wouldn’t work with mobile browsers and, as some of you know, I’ve never made it through a recording on Zoom that didn’t have issues. That said, Nick is using a still image anyway, so you shouldn’t notice much on his video, but some of mine will have our logo superimposed over it as a stopgap solution. I appreciate you bearing with me, I do hope to prioritize a new laptop and better camera in the future, assuming that’s the problem and not the software, but I digress.
That said, I hope you’re as excited to be here for this incredible episode as I was to record it! Today we welcome back one of my favorite guests, the Conspiracy Guru himself, Nick Hinton! Nick first joined us back in December of 2020 on a holiday episode and we finally got our timing aligned again, just in time to record a special 50th Episode! We talk about the literal journey that he’s taken back and forth across America, as well as his metaphorical journeys into conspiracy theories, including a look into his newest books and a couple of off-the-wall new conspiracy theories I’d never even heard of. It’s a fun ride and I think you’ll all enjoy it!
One quick thing, there are a lot of overlapping holidays right now, as well as a huge portion of people that don’t believe in them at all. No matter your preferences or beliefs, I want to truly wish you a time of peace and goodwill towards all. If we all focused on that even ½ as much as whatever political turmoil or civil unrest we individually choose to obsess over, then maybe the world would start looking a little less like we’re headed towards a dystopia and more like that vision Gene Roddenberry had in Star Trek. Nick even talks a little about how he might’ve been influenced by the “Counsel of 9” channelings by Phyllis Schlemmer. Either way, moving towards a society that is more about cooperation and understanding seems like the way to go to me. I’ll continue to wish that dharma for all of you out there.
This week I have the privilege of speaking with Ivan “Funkboy” Bodley! Ivan is a bass player and has been a long-time music director for the stars. He has performed with 52 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees as well as in 13 Broadway Shows, with many more accomplishments to come I’m sure!

This week’s episode has been a few months in the making, but I’m glad it finally came together. Kirsten first came on the exchange last year, talking about her role in Nick Hinton’s second book, The Aquarian Singularity. Since we last spoke, she’s been on a very healing DMT journey and she’s been inspired to share that experience with others, including all of you listeners out there. Also with us today is the coach that’s helped Kirsten along her journey Eve. Eve is joining us today, audio only, all the way from Brazil to help me learn about this amazing chemical and its healing properties. And in the spirit of being open with all of you, this is going to be the first of at least two parts on this particular subject, this episode acting as a kind of “before” episode before I begin my own DMT journey. I know I’ve talked a little about my microdosing experimentation, but this is the first guided journey I’ll be taking, so I thought it might be cool to share updates with all of you as I go. In addition to the updates, I’ll also be doing at least one “after” episode with Kirsten again, and possibly Eve as well, to discuss all of the personal changes that happen to me on this journey. I’m a bit nervous, but I think it’ll be a great experience.
