Relationships aren’t about becoming the same – they’re about becoming one. In this message, we explore how this can still be possible in a world of such individualism.

Relationships matter. How we do relationships today will shape the next generation. In this introduction, we begin exploring what it takes to become the men and women God designed us to be.

What is the mission of God? How do we join that mission? What might God do, in our city and in our world, if we all lived missionally?

What if we all followed Jesus? What might God do if a community of people left everything to follow him? What might God do in us, our city, and our world if we gave ourselves to that amazing calling?

On Awakening Church’s first birthday, we kick off this new series by asking the question, “What if we all experienced the family of God together?”

This week we explore the practice of fasting & praying.

This week we pray through Colossians 3 and ask God to recreate us, our church, and our city. We bring our scraps and watch as God creates splendor out of them.

At the end of his letter to the Colossian church, Paul encourages us to be devoted to prayer. Devotion requires listening, waiting, and undivided attention. Tonight we explore what it looks like to be devoted to prayer and then spend some time praying together.

God doesn’t transform, change and make us new in isolation. It always happens in the context of community.

Recreation happens below the surface. What lies down deep, beyond just the symptoms of our brokenness? How do we get to the source of our brokenness and allow God to recreate us from the inside?
