Originally from Pottstown, PA, I am a 2000 Cum Laude
graduate from Temple University with a dual degree in Elementary Education and
Early Childhood Education. Having always been an athlete, equestrian and living
an active water-based lifestyle, I quickly transitioned from teaching in a
classroom to teaching Physical Education. From there I became an Aquatics
Director, acquiring an extensive American Red Cross Instructorship background
and became a Level II ACA certified Kayak/SUP instructor.
Having suffered from different spinal injuries at a young
age as a result of such an active lifestyle, I began to look for alternative
ways to heal my lumbar spine and found it by strengthening the muscles
surrounding the spine. I was amazed to see how well it was working and how my
body was changing. I fell in love with fitness and set a goal to become a
personal trainer so I could help others as well!
I am a NASM certified CPT, Youth Exercise Specialist,
Nutritionist, Yogi, AFAA Group X instructor and hold a NASM Golf-Fitness
certification. I have lived, taught, surfed and paddled in such places as Costa
Rica, Cape Cod, both the New Jersey and Maryland Eastern Shores and Florida.
