Embodied Alpha: Conscious Witness of Love

We explore how the embodiment of Alpha, or consciousness, creates safety and openness for the exploration of feelings, and the effect this has on an intimate relationship. The internal cultivation of stillness is a key component in this conversation, and we discuss some of the layers around cultivating stillness in a world that is very busy and reactive. Embodying qualities of Alpha transforms a person’s inner relationship, man or woman, and also their external relationships.

We dive into the differences between reactivity and sensitivity, as both have a significant effect on intimate relationship. Whilst reactivity creates defences and distance, sensitivity supports awakening, closeness and deeper intimacy. Rod speaks to some of the challenges that men experience around sensitivity, and Martina speaks to some of the nuances of sensitivity specific to women.
