The Piaseczner Rebbe managed to create a monumental work of spiritual potency from within the depths of horror in the Warsaw Ghetto. This piece exemplifies the Rebbe’s courageous faith and his unbending will to find God and encounter Torah, even under the most unimaginable circumstances. A powerful teaching about finding God on the path, and about transforming discomfort to discovery and victimhood to empowerment.

We tend to think about Divine revelation as something that comes to people from the outside. But in the Piaseczner’s world, God is revealed to each person in their own unique way. These teachings reframe the search for God as something internal, and point to the subtle ways in which the Divine whisper can be felt through the individual’s own inner experience.

Episode 001
