Overwhelming anxiety, fear, attachment, and neediness is a severe problem. I struggled with it for over 22 years. Growing up I was overly judged and criticized. I was not allowed to get angry or express myself.
Over that time, I have come to realize that most of my anxiety came from what I was thinking. It came from childhood trauma and fears of not being loved or abandoned.
For a long time, I did not know those fears triggered my emotional episodes and attachment. It was not until I became more aware of my emotions. And I was able to discover the hidden thoughts that drove my anxious thoughts and overwhelming attachment to others.
