Children's highest state of  engagement will be from something they absolutely feel great about, that they are really interested in, that they want to do,  awe and wonder for everyone comes from being understood and following your ideas and interests, collaborating when you want to and sharing your ideas when you choose to.
Children need to feel joy in their lives, as an adult we really need to know what this feels like.
