Cinthya and Michelle are officially back! After taking some time for themselves, Cinthya and Michelle return to talk all things awkwardly random and dig deeper into the nuances of life. On today’s episode, they share what they have been up to in the last four months and engage in a new segment where they answer some random questions of the day. Finally, they talk about the interview process and their experiences with negotiating a salary. They go through it all!! On this week’s Awkwardly Random Cinthya and Michelle are joined by friend, activist, and overall good person, Marisela Gomez. Marisela talks about connecting with her roots through language and music, shares her journey with changing her hair and talks about how she started as an activist and organizer in the Madison community. Marisela speaks on the work she has done to uplift youth voices and help build resistance within communities of color in Madison. She also shares her thoughts on how she feels activism in Madison has changed over the years and what it looks like today.

On this week’s Awkwardly Random, Cinthya and Michelle are joined once again by their very first guest, Rebeca! Cinthya, Michelle and Rebeca share their experiences with having roommates. They provide tips for setting boundaries and maintaining clear communication when sharing a living space with others and what they’ve learned in the process. 

On this week’s Awkwardly Random, Cinthya and Michelle share their thoughts on Demi Lovato’s YouTube docuseries and Lil Nas X’s highly talked about music video. Cinthya and Michelle also take a dive into the topic of toxic traits. They identify different toxic traits within themselves and what they feel are some toxic traits to be aware of in others. They share their thoughts on some healthy and non-toxic traits that they feel are also important.

On this week’s episode, Cinthya and Michelle talk about their why’s and what that means to them. As humans, we all have why’s for different areas of our lives. Cinthya and Michelle discuss their journeys on their higher education and their chosen careers in child development and the law. Ultimately, it is okay to change your why and your career path. It is also okay to not know your why. Life is hard and external voices can  influence one’s life. However, Cinthya and Michelle hope that through this journey of life, you find your voice and choose you.  

On this week’s Awkwardly Random, Cinthya and Michelle review and share their thoughts on the film Judas and the Black Messiah. Cinthya and Michelle also dive deeper into the topic of dating and share their experiences and thoughts around dating during COVID, friendzoning and being friendzoned, social “codes” around dating and provide advice for making long distance relationships work. 

On this week’s episode, we talk about the realities of owning a puppy. As you probably may know, Michelle has a cockapoo puppy named Mia. Owning a puppy isn’t always cute silly instagram videos, but takes a lot of work and it can be expensive. Join us as Michelle shares her true and honest reflections on the reality of owning a puppy.

This week on Awkwardly Random, Cinthya and Michelle break down the “Bachelor” racism controversy and NY Times documentary “Framing Britney Spears.” They both share their honest thoughts, reactions and reflections.
