Consumerism is bad ideology. And calling people consumers is pushing for that ideology. Whether you have realized it or not, this speech explains why calling people consumers is dehumanising. Or at the very least it doesn't support the idea of individual people with agency, which I value.
Another topic covered, is the fact that religion / philosophy / ideology are all the same thing, to differentiate between them is arbitrary and not fundamentally necessary, at most they are just sub-categories of the broader concept of any supernatural concept that a person subscribes to. I don't know what to call it.
