The self-released track “icu” by AXT was produced and mixed in Prague and Vienna from May to August 2024, under the influence of overwhelming emotions brought on by a blend of loneliness, contemplation of unexpected life paths changes, and falling into the abyss of distance and separation from something and someone I felt deeply connected to. “icu” features voice samples from “Chanel” by Frank Ocean. Big up Frank, but I believe there are more sides than just two!

The artwork was created by Ukrainian-Czech visual artist @dreamlogue_ in Prague, during his ongoing exploration of the possibilities within randomness and chaos.

It was meant to happen, wasn’t it?

"Hunty" is part of the "Místní Fauna" compilation, which was released on the @yukumusic label on November 17, 2023.

In Czech, "Místní Fauna" means "local wildlife", and these 10 tracks capture the aesthetics of 10 different artists — either Czech natives or creators residing in the country.
