Seriously?

"Ayibobo" with Jocelin Laloy - A Haitian Voodoo descendent

Listen Later

Jocelin Laloy from Haiti shares his rich and gifted journey

in humbleness and kindness from a co-existential perspective.

Jocelin is a music producer, rapper, father, husband and bartender at Moosehead Bar in Malmö,

Sweden. Jocelin co-founded a centre for homeless children in Anse-A-Pitrss, a village near the Port-au-Prince area, affected by the great earthquake of 2010.

His childhood in Haiti was formed to a great extent by his grandfather, Louis Noël Topiyè a cherished voodoo priest and healer.

We learn about the tumultuous history of Haiti, why Haitians

are respected by its neighbours and why they look upon their history with pride, despite the continued coups d'état, murder of presidents and natural disasters.

What is voodoo really? Who rules Haiti really? Why may part

of Haitian history be a threat to the “western establishment”?

Learn about this from Jocelins words. He invites listeners

to stop by Moosehead Bar in Malmö for a drink or dinner, which he will serve with a smile. Ladies and gents, beware, he might put a spell on you!
