266. Ayo Idowu & Aaron Abram

Ayo Idowu is the co-founder of Line of Scrimmage LLC - a coaching and consulting group in MN specializing with young athletes around the Twin Cities. Aaron Abram is a lawyer specializing in criminal justice and family law in Eau Clare, WI. 

In light of the death of George Floyd and the protests and riots across the country, more specifically in Minneapolis, we decided to bring on two dear friends of the black community to speak on the subject of race, equality, equity, and how to build a better tomorrow. Both Ayo and Aaron provide an incredible perspective that everyone needs to listen to.

• The Lake Street Council in Minneapolis is collecting donations to support small businesses and nonprofits that need to rebuild.

• In St. Paul, the Neighbors United Funding Collaborative is raising money to help rebuild the storefronts of small businesses in Midway + Union Park.

• Reclaim the Block is a grass roots initiative to refocus funds from the police department into other areas of the city’s budget that truly promote community health and safety
