  • A Tale of Two Cities Analysis

An analysis of a Tale of Two Cities. Specifically, a critique on Feudalism.

I lost the software to do Podcasts for a bit, but essentially, A Tale of Two Cities deals with the Protagonists the Darnay Family and Lucile's marriage to Dr. Manette. Because of some ties Dr. Manette has to France--he's royalty--and also Charles Darnay's, the bad guys in France look to destroy him, as the Revolution takes its toll.

***Always read the book, and not just a synopsis. The above is completely backward, and I read a bad reading of the plot. xP. Even with my Podcasts. You'll find your own thing, that will augment everything. Also, risk being wrong. You read a dang book.

  • Homer's Theorem

A video on a topic I've recently become interested in. Math.

    A Context:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4zqR7GhrqQ

In an episode of the Simpsons, Homer quotes the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz when he finds glasses, to say he's smart. The problem is, the theorem is completely wrong. sqrt(a)+sqrt(b)=sqrt(c), or famously, "The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle, will equal the square root of the remaining side."
