  • Synchronised swimming is a sport in which Russia has a dominant place. Russian girls win almost all competitions thanks to their perfect synchronyzation, beauty and difficult tricks. But what about men? Until a few years ago this was a sport only for women. I am presenting an interesting topic to discuss  stereotypes in sports. 
  • You will work on your vocabulary by expanding within the same family of words . You will be able to form nouns from verbs with suffixes -ание, -ение (that is very close to English "ing" - плавать swim -> плавание swimming and you will learn all adjectives with suffix -шний (завтрашний tomorrow's etc.) And in this way it will be much easier to create new Russian words! 
  • You will remember conjugations of verbs like тренироваться train, соревноваться compete, завоевать win, добиться  get, obtain; 
  • We will try to interview each other, imagining you are an athlete or a journalist.
