Sheriff Carmine Marceno spoke today about the Lee County Sheriff’s Office "Fallen Deputy Memorial" planned for Lakes regional park.

Since 1972, eight Lee County Sheriff Deputies and one canine have been killed in the line of duty. Sheriff Marceno decided it was time to provide a public memorial where we can remember these heroic individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The Lee County Sheriffs Department is now accepting donations for the memorial through their fallen officer memorial website, lcsofallendeputymemorial.sheriffleefl.org/

With your help, we can make this memorial a reality and honor those who put service above themselves.
