I met Ally Salama at Podcast Movement in LA, and I immediately loved his energetic, positive vibe. Then he started telling me his story about speaking at Harvard and for the World Health Organization based on chance relationships he had forged with great mentors, and I realized just how far he had come in a short time. We later reconnected at Podfest in Orlando, and he impulsively bought a ticket to attend my retreat in North Carolina the next weekend where he brightened up the weekend for everybody!

You need to meet Ally and hear about his path to becoming the Middle East's Mental Health Amabassador, his PR chops, and the amazing outlook he has in life after being raised in the Middle East as a world class swimmer, struggling through depression, and becoming a successful entrepreneur in Toronto.  Did I mention he's not even 25??

I met Charod Jones in what has become my favorite way to meet my favorite people- a random local charity function.  As he was standing around watching a charity lip sync competition, I could tell that he wasn't just the most stylishly dressed guy in the room, but a well-respected member of his community of Mobile, Alabama... so I walked, introduced myself, and sparked up a relationship that I believe will last for many years.

Charod is an engineer, investor, musician, CEO of the Idea Factory LLC, community leader, and activist in Mobile, AL.

We talked about:

1. Embracing the journey of Entrepreneurship
 2. Stock Market Investing
 3. His upcoming music project, Legacy
4. The art of perspective

Lessons I took away from the conversation:

1. Know your market. No matter what position/job you have, be knowledgeable in the areas you want to grow.

2. Everything is an investment. Evaluate your time and relationships the way you evaluate your financial invstments.

3. The time to invest is now. The pandemic will end soon enough, but the opportunity will fade forever. When people sell, you buy.

4. People focus too much on getting mainstream than being creative.
