This chapter was a beautiful memoir about Lola Sebia, a celebrated babaylan from a province that is adjacent to Bayhaw, Hilamonan, Matama, and Camugao - areas encompassed by the mid- and southern areas of the Philippines - mostly Visaya and Mindanao.
It is a compilation of stories spearheaded by her grandchildren, narrated initially by at the time this essay was created 53year old Ceres E. Pioquinto and his 3 siblings - Amor, Jovi, & Joerita. A wonderful chapter full of poginancy and hope, it is a delightfully tell-tales of the custodians’ experiences with Lola Sebia’s life gifts. The author of
