Setting boundaries with family regarding your baby is always a good idea, but speaking up for ourselves and our boundaries is not always easy. It's definitely not easy when people have a poor reaction to our boundaries. In this episode, we talk about some methods of communication for boundaries and how to deal with people who gaslight, manipulate, or disregard our boundaries.
Some moms feel pressured to leave their children with family members before they feel ready for that. In this video, we discuss how to handle this situation and I discuss why I think pushing for alone time with a child can be a red flag.
It never fails that when I talk about boundaries I get the comment "this is why you guys don't have a village" or "don't push away your village". In this episode, I touch on why I don't think boundaries will push your village away. I also discuss the concept of a village and why it can't coexist with toxic family.

In this episode we discuss different types of mistreatment, and what you should do about them.
