On the phone with me is the multifaceted, Dr. Karen Lomax, affectionately known as "Dr, K". We had revealing conversation conversation on setting boundaries. She gave us practical tips and tools on how to set boundaries and sticking to them.
Dr. Karen D. Lomax is the Founder and President of Karen Lomax Ministries, KAIROS Literary Agency, H.E.R.R.S. LLC Professional Life Coaching and H.I.S. outreach ministry. She is dedicated to reconciling the loss back to God through her unique style of preaching, teaching, coaching, and mentoring.
Dr. Lomax is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society and an honor graduate of Columbia College of Missouri, Liberty University, Light University, and the Universal Schools & Colleges of Health and Human Services. She has a Doctorate of Humanities, from Elbon Solutions College of Ministry. She has a total of 9 degrees, 4 Life coaching credentials, and 2 certifications in billing and coding, respectively. She is also a Certified Marriage Assessment Facilitator and Trainer.
Dr. Lomax actively serves her community through various nonprofit agencies. She is an Army chaplain Reserves chaplain and is the Senior Chaplain for the 416th Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Battalion (Airborne) in Oceanside, CA.
Dr. Lomax is the proud mother of two children and currently serves as the Associate Pastor for Atmosphere of Faith Christian Church in Vista, CA.
