A few emails we probably shouldn't have sent.Weeks of front pages.

    Around ยฃ400k of free press.

    And then it got better!

Because she came out of the jungle and answered.

    ๐Ÿ“ NAPKIN NOTES

PR (Public Relations) Getting people talking about you without paying for an ad.

Earned Media Coverage you didn't buy. Front pages, blogs, someone else's audience.

Newsjacking: Hooking your brand onto a story that's already everywhere.

Digital PR: The modern version. Mostly getting other sites to link back to yours. Works, but less fun.

  • Two 8-Figure Founders Ask Each Other Everything...

    Two founders. Both eight figures.

One's never taken a penny from an investor.

    The other's venture backed.

We handed them a stack of napkins with questions they probably shouldn't answer on camera.

    They answered anyway.

    Somewhere in here there'sโ€ฆ

โ†’ a celebrity who never agreed to anything

โ†’ a team holiday that should've ended the company

โ†’ a roof nobody should have looked inside

One of them also sent a customer something in the post they'll never live down.

And by the end, only one of them still thinks he got it right.

Welcome to Back of the Napkin.
