Teams with lots of turnover and the Kraken adding 83M to the salary pool really offset the flat cap and made this free agency period one of the craziest ever. The finals was mostly overshadowed by some questionable managing decisions and some pretty borderline challenges, all of which played a big factor in deciding the game. So Tampa won the cup.... again. What made them so unstoppable? We look into the challenges of keeping a team so good in the salary cap era as well as look into how they even got to this point. Additionally we discuss the fraud that was the England penalty against Denmark and why VAR failed... again.

Their struggles highlighted lots of issues within the team fundamentally and the firing of Chris Armas as well as the possible return home of the team give us reasons for optimism. We look into the Stanley Cup finals and why throwing a game is never a good idea.

As per always, ripping into NHL refs for not knowing how to do their jobs was also on the menu.

In this week's episode I do something I said i'd never do... I rushed straight to the mic after an emotional Danish win and recorded my raw, unfiltered thoughts. We also dig in to the state of the NHL and it's referees, and discuss where teams should go after one of their stars disappear in the playoffs similar to Ben Simmons and the 76ers.
