We speak to Balestier Khalsa's Vice Chairman, Darwin Jalil and the longest-serving manager in Singapore football, Timnee Cheng in this episode.

We discuss Darwin and Timnee's memories of the early days of S-League, what keeps Timnee going after so many years in the job at Balestier Khalsa and the path Darwin took to becoming the Vice Chairman at Balestier Khalsa.

We then speak to them on the club's preparations this season, their opinions on how pre-season has gone for the club and the club's eSports team. We also get an insight into what Balestier is planning to do differently this season and Darwin answers his critics.

In this episode, we speak to the captains Darren Teh, Ho Wai Loon and Shuhei Hoshino. 

We look back at the path taken by Darren and Wai Loon; through school, tertiary, social football to becoming a professional footballer. Hoshino shares about the level of football at Japan's university level and a team-mate that is currently in the Japanese national team. He also shared with us his first experience of playing in the S-League as it was known back then. 

We then get their thoughts on being named as captains and their captaincy styles. Wai Loon shares what to expect from Balestier this season, Hoshino shares his expectations for the season and Darren speaks about his move from Geylang International to Balestier Khalsa. In our inaugural episode of Back Passt X Balestier Khalsa, we speak to head coach, Mr Akbar Nawas. We speak about his experiences with Lions XI, in the Philippines and India. 

We then speak about his sentiments on the first fixture of the Singapore Premier League (SPL) season against his former club, Tampines Rovers, the changes he has made since his first stint in the SPL. In this episode, we speak to ex-Malaysia international with over 100 caps for his country, Datuk Santokh Singh. We start the show on a solemn note by getting him to share his memory of the late Serbegeth Singh before speaking briefly about his favourite club, Tottenham Hotspur and extensively on the Golden Era of the Malaysian national team which he was part of. We speak as well about the Selangor-Singapore rivalry in the Malaysia Cup days and his memory of facing against Diego Maradona.

In the final episode of 2021, we speak to Harjinder Singh and Keng Wei Terk, friends and members of the Singapore Everton Supporters Club. In the first section, we alter the course of the show and bring them back to the 1980s when Everton had a glorious period before moving to the 1995 FA Cup win and then the David Moyes era. 

In the second section, they look at Everton of today, the way the season is going for them - the current squad, the player they have missed the most due to injury and where they think Everton will finish this season.

In this episode, we speak to the Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Premier League club, Balestier Khalsa and a Football Association of Singapore (FAS) Council Member, Darwin Jalil. 

In the first part, he shares his memories of his time as a Manchester United and German national team fan in the 1990s and 2000s. He expanded on the change the German national team took from the 90s to the 00s as well.

In the second part, he spoke about the current predicament and situation at Manchester United and spoke at length about his plans and current implementations at Balestier Khalsa and clarified his role at Balestier and as a FAS Council Member. He also shared what his thoughts are on Singapore football and how he sees it improving in a personal capacity.
