For God's people it was a dark season. Many had completely turned away, while most had relegated His words to meaningless traditions passed down from their ancestors. Today we dig into the life of Hezekiah and watch how God used one man to restore God's people in a dark and discouraging time. Do you think this has any practical applications today?

Cliff digs into James 1 today to unpack the phrase "Consider it Pure Joy."  Joy is great when it comes to weddings, births, a promotion at work, etc., but what about when things get hard and we lose a loved one, or a job, or encounter deep pain?  Can we still have joy?  What is that "pure joy" that James speaks of?
