In Romans 13, Paul reminds us to be submitted to authority and that those authorities are "ministers of God for our good" - for there is no authority except from God. We are thankful to the men and women, and their families, who put their lives in harm's way for our safety. Let's be the church by praying for our officers to have the wisdom, discernment, mental discipline and compassion they need to serve and protect our communities.
