In this podcast episode, I discuss my thought process around getting back to basics when it comes to making coffee. I share how, as specialty coffee producers, we often focus intently on controlling the full process and experience for the customer. However, I explain how most people don't want to get bogged down in the intricate details - they just want a good cup of coffee made simple.I describe how I want to emulate my customers more by using standard kitchen tools to make coffee rather than relying on fancy gadgets.
