Brandon gets a call from his old girlfriend from Minneapolis, Sheryl with an S. She's coming to visit beverly hills for the weekend. Cindy becomes uncomfortable with Brandon and Sheryl spending time alone together. 

Brenda develops a crush on her mullet-y math teacher. When he pulls her aside after class, she is shocked when, instead of asking her to begin a very illegal relationship, he asks her to babysit his kids while he goes out with his wife.

Brandon meets Dylan McKay, a mysterious cool boy who is “like, major trouble”. After surfing at the beach and some light breaking and entering with some kids from the valley, Brandon discovers Dylan’s bad boy image masks the sad boy within.

Brenda wishes she had more cash to spend on clothes like her friend Kelly. She alters clothes she already has into a great new outfit for a party at the beach. Kelly ditches her there anyway.
