This week the Back to the Blockbuster team dives into Red Notice and Netflix declaring it had their biggest opening day for a film ever. We also discuss Taylor Swift's new short film for All Too Well and its connection to actor Jake Gyllenhaal, remakes with Jake Gyllenhaal being attached to a reboot of Road House and Lizzy Caplan landing the lead in the Paramount+ TV series adaptation of Fatal Attraction.

Patty Jenkins Rogue Squadron Star Wars film being delayed due to "creative differences", Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness reshoots, Disney+ Day and bloated expectations, Mel Gibson directing Lethal Weapon 5, and we give our boy Paul Rudd props for being People's Sexiest Man Alive for 2021 and you'll learn which one of the hosts would definitely go home with Paul Rudd if he hit on one of us at a bar.

The Back To The Blockbuster team introduces themselves to their podcast audience in the first episode that sees them diving into the mixed reaction to Marvel’s Eternals, the pressure on female directors to deliver a box office success, the vaccination mandates being implemented on most film and TV sets, Vin Diesel reaching out to Dwayne Johnson to appear in Fast 10 amidst their public feud and more!

This season we'll be bringing you three very different perspectives on the industry as Gaius comes from the media side, Brittany has worked in the industry, & Owen represents probably the most important perspective on the podcast, the casual moviegoer. It's all going to be light & fun & we'll definitely be reaching out to special guests so we can mix things up a bit with of their opinions as well.

I know so many of you hand has podcasts in this community and you have made them grow considerably. We're happy to join that community and hopefully we can continue to grow together.
