The Bible is fascinating. For those of us who read it today, much of it is history. We can look at research and see that the historical events discussed in Micah really happened. But for the people of Micah’s day, the prophets were talking about things that would happen in the future. It was difficult for them to understand the prophecies because Micah was predicting something in the future.
