He's an actor and a producer but we know Mark "Skip" Buccola for managing the legendary Key Club, on the Sunset Strip, which in turn helped Jennifer Pershing don the pages of Playboy, as Miss March 2009.
The Key Club sat on one of the most famous stretches of music clubs in the world, right there on the Sunset Strip. Heard of the Roxy or the Whiskey? Maybe the Viper Room? Well, the Key Club was right in that mix, from the 1960's (when it was Gazzarri's) until 2013. Skip was there from the start and recalls the rise and fall of the legendary joint. You've heard Steel Panther mentioned on more than one occasion and Skip played a part in getting the glam metal band to perform there every Monday Night. As Jenn admits, if it weren't for those Monday night shows, she may never have graced the Playboy gatefold.
Speaking of those Monday night shows, Skip tells the story of when he first saw Jenn and all about the "stage right steps". Another band that played at the Key Club was Petty Cash, a band made-up of all-star musicians. Recently, front man Jason Womack has been battling some very serious health issues. Brian, Jenn and Skip talk about the Go Fund Me that's been set-up. If you'd like to know more or help out: (https://www.gofundme.com/f/go-for-wo-jason-womacks-fight-against-cancer)
Skip will be back for another episode where we get to chat about his acting career and an important issue to Skip, mental health. Family helps family!...And the Mayhem continues! 🤟
