In this special farewell episode of Back2Basics on Metro, we pause to reflect on a meaningful milestone and a new beginning. Recorded on April 20, 2026, this episode follows the 14th anniversary of the Back2Basics Magazine launch on April 19, 2012, and marks the final show airing on Metro.

What began as a vision to inspire and inform has evolved into a platform for community conversations, storytelling and connection. In this episode, we reflect on that journey, express gratitude to Metro as a home for the show and share what it means to step into a new season of growth and expansion.

Listeners will also hear from Stephanie Tavares-Rance, founder of the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival, whose story was recently shared during a Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce event, offering inspiration rooted in purpose, creativity and community.
