This week Shea and Brandon are diving into Backrooms, the new A24 horror film from first-time director Kane Parsons that has them landing in completely different rooms on the heart-o-meter. 

Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Clark with a quiet unraveling that had at least one of them fully hooked, but as the film stretches deeper into its liminal hallways, Shea and Brandon find themselves debating whether the bloat outweighs the scares or whether the film's ambiguity is actually its greatest strength.
