Today we're reviewing TONY, the latest from Canadian filmmaker Matt Johnson. The film stars Dominic Sessa as the titular Tony in this biopic that takes place during a formative Summer in the life of Anthony Bourdain.

Shea and Charles are deep in to the Fantasia Film Festival for We're Nothing at All, a Hong Kong-set investigative drama built around a central mystery. The problem? That "mystery" doesn't quite hold up.The guys dig into where the investigation loses its grip, from a reveal that lands with a thud to tonal shifts that pull the film between straight drama and full-on melodrama. Charles is here to review Godhead, the black-and-white feature from writer/director Mark H. Rappaport, that premiered at the 30th Fantasia Film Festival.The film leans hard into faith, running the full spectrum from pure skepticism to characters who see themselves as untouchable, practically next to God himself. Charles digs into how that tension plays out on screen, and why he thinks the black-and-white cinematography was the right call for the setting.
