Backseat Directors

Backseat Directors Episode 28!  Andre from The Formal Review and I discuss Logan Lucky, and all of its southern charm.  Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, and Daniel Craig give their best effort at making us believe in their southerness, but how does this movie stack up against the classic Ocean's movies?  Find out now!

Backseat Directors Episode 27!  An old friend, Nate Tucker, joins me all the way from Arizona to review one of the most surprising movies from the month of August, The Hitman's Bodyguard.  Nate and I discuss the onscreen chemistry between Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds, and why MF is the MO for Samuel L.  Even though this is a family friendly podcast, this movie is not family friendly, so listeners be warned!

My lovely sister, Jaclyn, joins me to review The Glass Castle!  Before seeing the movie, Jaclyn read the book.  So her experience of the movie will be different from mine since I was completely unfamiliar with this story having never read the book.  Join us in our discussion of a very moving and inspirational film in The Glass Castle.

Backseat Directors Episode 25!  CJ Marshal joins me to discuss and review a very heavy but historically significant film, Detroit.  This movie was not easy to watch, and some of the topics we discuss are heavy in nature, but CJ and I both feel very strongly about their importance.  We hope you are able to enjoy today's show and gain a greater perspective on these long lasting social struggles and injustices.
