Anna finished her pair of basic socks in Pagewood Farms “Crayon” colorway.

Bethany finished two “Antler Toques” by TinCan Knits, both in Cascade 220, one is in an olive color and the other is a navy blue.

In Time Out:
Bethany has a Christmas Hat that is sorta in time out but not really.

Anna finished the wedding dress alterations.

Anna watched some “Scrubs”, is reading the Harry Potter Series, and saw “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” in theaters.

In Rehearsal/Performance:
Nic is lighting a production of “Miracle on 34th Street” at Tacoma Little Theater that runs from November 26- December 24, 2016.

Anna closed "Three Poets"

Bethany's household closed "6 Characters in Search of An Author." She acted in a One Night Only Staged Reading. And her dog, Roxie, played the role of Bruiser Woods in Legally Blonde, Jr. at Puyallup Children's Theater.

Events:
Bethany will be at the tailgate Seahawks season opener on September 11 at Yorkshire Yarns in Lakewood, Washington.

Bethany and Anna will be at the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival in Canby, Oregon September 24 and 25.

Bethany and her sisters will be at Geek Girl Con in Seattle, Washington on October 9.

Bethany and Anna will be crawling in the PNW Yarn Crawl. The Yarn Crawl runs from Oct. 21-23 and we'll be crawling on the 23rd.

Techniques discussed:
After thought thumb, picking v throwing, 'reading' your knitting, entrelac, color work, kitchener, steeking, lace, knitting through back loop, make 1 increases.
The discussion got heated when discussing the differences between SSK and K2TOG. Anna blamed The Knitter's Handbook and Bethany blamed Anna.
