As promised, this week BFFC reviews CAPTAIN MARVEL, Marvel's first female superhero in ten years. They'll talk pacing, action, WIGS!!, the significance of the character in the MCU, and how to criticize the things you love.

This week BFFC tackles ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL. Surprise, it's really good and worth seeing! Happy Valentine's Day! This year the girls watch LOVE ACTUALLY, the seminal 2000s romantic comedy (?). They'll discuss all the key points: fat jokes, creeps, Hector from Westworld, and thin eyebrows.

This week, the girls view KINGDOM, a historical Korean drama with a horror twist. The girls will talk costumes, the use of familiar tropes in new ways, and a quick detour into Game of Thrones criticism.
