Bad Movie Date Night

It's been a while since a rom-com was featured on this podcast, and what better movie to do that than with Couples Retreat featuring a plethora of famous faces (seriously, read them below, I am not about to type the names out again). Find out why Nigel is lukewarm toward this movie and why Kaitlyn thoroughly enjoyed it.

An introduction to our brand new film ranking system.

The "Definitive Bad Movie Date Night Ranking List" has served us well for the first 50 or so episodes of the show, but the time has come to switch things up, and evaluate what sort of ranking system is going to serve the show better in the future. Or for now. Whichever comes sooner.

It may not seem like it, but this is an incredibly important episode. Not only is it the first episode recorded with new equipment (ignore the dogs - still working out some bugs), but it's also the first with a return to social media, and it's the first episode with a brand new segment titled "Kaitlyn's Dating Corner!" In this episode, Nigel and Kaitlyn try to double down and tread this week's movie, Tammy and the T-Rex, like a legitimate film that deserves some extra love, and not just the "so bad its good" kind.

So what are you waiting for? Check it out!

This week, Nigel and Kaitlyn take a look at the 1990 film, Frankenhooker, a modern adaptation of the classic Frankenstein story starring a plethora of adult models and SAG member prostitutes.

Check out the film so ridiculous it garnered a cult following just because of the VHS box and an endorsement from Bill Murray himself!

Starring: James Lorinz, Patty Mullen, Louise Lasser, Shirley Stoler

There once was a time in Hollywood in which movies could be made based on a poster. Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama is one such film. Starring three of the lesser-known scream queens of the '80s, Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama is a fascinating descent into peak low-budget '80s horror madness.

This episode features what is likely to be the start of an ongoing discussion about the relationship between horror and comedy, and you won't want to miss it.

Directed by: David DeCoteau

Written by: Sergei Hasenecz

Starring: Andras Jones, Linnea Quigley, Robin Stille, Hal Havins, John Stuart Wildman, Brinke Stevens, Michelle Bauer,

Join Nigel and Kaitlyn as they continue to slowly roll out a backlog of recorded episodes. In this week's episode, they talk about Killer Workout and apparently unknown 80's gem that is 50% kills and 50% aerobics and 0% plot. They also discuss the insanity of murdering people after personal trauma. You won't want to miss this one!

Here it is, after months of waiting, the brand new and improved Bad Movie Date Night! With everything that has been going on, its amazing these upcoming episodes came out at all.

This first of many new and improved episodes Nigel and Kaitlyn discuss the 1986 film, Spookies, a pseudo evil dead knockoff that originally started life as "Twisted Souls." A trouble production ultimately lead to a compromised film with two entirely different plots that may or may not be related to each other. If you've ever wonder why doors won't open in your favorite haunted house film, or want to see fart monsters, then this film is for you!

Another Episode a couple weeks late, but this one is worth it. After a serial killer is...well, you'll just have to listen to find out, but it involves chemicals, and snow. The highlight of this episode involves Nigel and Kaitlyn discussing whether one character had intentions of murdering another character.

Like we said, you'll have to listen to find out just what they're talking about.
