Look at that, another milestone! Episode 20. This week, Nigel and Kaitlyn talk about the 2005 film Alone in the Dark directed by Uwe Boll, the modern king of bad movies. In this episode, they discuss German tax breaks for movie making, Uwe Boll's career, and try to make sense of a nonsensical, and painfully boring movie. For the first time since the beginning, Nigel and Kaitlyn struggle to find enjoyment or fun in a bad movie. • What Happens in Vegas (2008)

What happens in Vegas, should stay in Vegas, and so should this movie. Ashton Kutcher is his usual funny self in this 2008 comedy about a couple who finds themselves married after a drunken night in Vegas, fighting over $3 million. It's man vs. woman as Cameron Diaz and her friend try and win the money (and a divorce) from a night gone awry. In the podcast, Nigel and Kaitlyn talk about the ridiculousness of the premise and how it all falls on a computer glitch, the "break up in front of a large group" trope, and the under-utilized Krysten Ritter. All of this and more on this week's Bad Movie Date Night.

  • Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959)

Here it is. The shortest Bad Movie Date Night episode to date. An episode that covers a film notoriously deemed the "worst movie ever made." Plan 9 from Outer Space is the first film to introduce the idea of a bad movie, so it's about time Nigel and Kaitlyn talked about it. Together they struggle through Kaitlyn's cold to discuss Ed Wood's career as a bad filmmaker, and the hoops he would jump through to make this film possible. Don't forget to watch 2015's Plan 9 in preparation for next week!

  • House on Haunted Hill (1999)

This 1999 film is more than a remake. It's a  muddled mess of ghosts, and murder, and CGI that is not only completely bonkers but also a lot of fun at times. This week Nigel and Kaitlyn take a deep dive into what makes this film tick, focusing on Geoffrey Rush's performance, the nonsensical relationships, and a ghost made of naked women. Nigel loved it, Kaitlyn hated it. What more needs to be said?

Starring: Geoffrey Rush, Famke Janssen, Tay Diggs, Peter Gallagher, Chris Kattan, Ali Larter, and Bridgette Wilson-Sampras
